On Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2024, the North Carolina Central University and Duke University volleyball teams will face off in a fun exhibition match with a purpose, dubbed the Battle for Bull City! This is the second year in a row of the Eagles' & Blue Devils' "Battle for Bull City," with 2023 marking the first time in 5 decades that NCCU Volleyball team hosted their cross-town counterparts, Duke Volleyball, for a nonconference match.

FUN(DRAISING) COMPETITION: As part of the "Battle for Bull City," the court isn't the only place where these teams are competing head-to-head. The teams have agreed to a fundraising competition to see which program can have the most donors make a gift (of any size!) to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Durham and Orange Counties by the end of August 2024. Whichever program has the most supporters on their side at the end of August 31st wins the Battle for Bull City bragging rights.

**When you make your gift, just make sure to select the program that you want to see win the 2024 Battle for Bull City -- either Duke or NCCU!**
